Healthcare Classes
CPR for Healthcare Providers
The American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Provider is a CPR course designed for anyone with a medical license or those in school for a healthcare profession. BLS stands for Basic Life Support and the course teaches how to perform CPR on Adult, Child and Infant victims as well as how to relieve victims of choking, and use an AED.
American Heart Association BLS classes are meant for anyone with a medical license or those in school for a healthcare profession; CNAs, nurses, physicians, physical therapists, are just some of the professions for which this class is best suited. Sometimes, individuals that interface frequently with healthcare professionals may be required to have this level of CPR training.
If you are not a licensed healthcare professional or are not required to have a BLS certification, please check out our non-healthcare CPR certification classes.
