• What Does the Bloodborne Pathogens Training Cover?

Designed for corporations, this course teaches employees about Bloodborne Pathogens such as Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV), Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, and Malaria. Students will learn essential information about pathogens such as how they spread, how to avoid exposure, and how to handle incidents of exposure.

• What To Expect From Your Bloodborne Pathogens Safety Training

The first part of the course is completed at the employee's convenience online. Upon registering, employees will gain access to a 24/7 portal with a multi-user login. Trainees can choose between English and Spanish versions of the training and will receive their scores and certificates via email.

To complete training for total certification- one of the company's compliance officers will receive physical hands-on learning with an orientation to a compliance documentation kit.

• How Long Does a Class Take To Complete?

Students will spend anywhere between one to eight hours reviewing the class materials and completing the test. An examination is taken at the end of the course and requires an 80% correct score or higher for passing. The course does not need to be completed in one sitting and the test can be retaken as many times as needed.

• Bloodborne Pathogens Tests and Certificates

Every employee who completes the course will receive a Bloodborne Pathogen training certificate and wallet card within one business day of the course. This training is valid for one year per national standards.
